We are seeking a skilled midwife to join our research team. This role involves clinical research activities to support high-quality maternity care across the district, including collecting blood samples and swabs and accommodating a higher volume of patients for research purposes.
About The OpportunityThis is an opportunity to enhance specialist skills, contribute to meaningful research, and participate in multidisciplinary education. You will be working with a passionate and dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical research activities as part of the South Western Sydney Obstetric Research Group.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and respond to care needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based midwifery care practices.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and engage with patients/consumers, families, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
