The role of District Group Engineering Manager is a key leadership position that oversees the daily operation and function of multi-disciplinary group engineering and maintenance services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facility management, asset management, utilities, reporting, compliance, contract and resource management, minor works projects, and interface with redevelopments and projects.
This challenging role requires a high level of organizational skills, multitasking, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
">- Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Facility Management or extensive experience in Facility Management.
- Demonstrated experience in initiative, strong organizational skills, multitasking, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing work in a high-volume healthcare engineering environment.
- Knowledge and experience in Australian Standards and codes of practice.
- Experience in engineering, maintenance, and asset management including personnel/resource management, procurement, tendering, and contract management in line with NSW Government policies.
- Proficiency with computer-based applications for activity, asset, and finance management systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and building services with a trade background and related qualifications in Facility Management.
