**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Liverpool City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader Cleaner to join its Operational Facilities team to manage a cleaning team across Council owned assets.

You will report to the Coordinator Facilities Maintenance Programs and work as an integral team member within the broader Operations section to plan and complete facility and cleaning related tasks for a diverse range of buildings and structures.

**ABOUT**YOU**

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:

- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Selecting and using appropriate cleaning agents to remove stains from surfaces
- Reordering cleaning supplies as needed
- replenishing toiletries, such as toilet paper, paper towels and hand wash
- using chemicals, solvents, high-pressure water cleaners and other cleaning equipment, such as wet vacuums and other suction equipment
- Ability to prepare cleaner rosters and manage cleaner work allocation
