Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to develop conceptual scopes, provide input into civil and structural designs, and offer technical engineering advice for brownfield substation projects.

  • Develop and/or review scopes, concept design, and concept installation scope of works.
  • Provide technical input into staging, constructability, operability, and maintainability (COM) and safety in design reviews.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate all technical risks on development projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in civil/structural engineering or similar.
  • Proven experience as an engineer with detailed technical knowledge and extensive experience in electricity networks engineering.
  • A detailed understanding of project lifecycles and application of engineering principals with extensive design and construction knowledge covering performance, functionality, operation, maintenance, and risks.
  • Extensive experience working in electricity substations engineering, project delivery, and/or design role.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory environment that we operate within.
