Project Engineer - Structural

UGL's Fuels and Energy East business is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead and innovate across brownfield and asset maintenance projects.

The successful candidate will work with a team of engineers and designers to provide safe, reliable, and efficient technical expertise.

  • Provide civil and structural engineering design ensuring top-quality deliverables that align with project and business needs.
  • Design of piling foundations including comprehensive design and analysis of tanks and tank foundations to API650.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges underpinned by thorough technical analyses and adherence to all applicable codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of engineering design exposure particularly in the resource oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Comprehensive experience in the design of piling foundations.
  • Expertise in piled tank foundations bulk storage tank design and general structures & foundations e.g. pipe bridge pipe support access platform wharf pipe support modification.
  • A tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ qualified would be highly regarded.
