About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to lead our Resources & Industrial business in Western Australia. This role will involve partnering with leaders and customers to develop and execute business plans, embedding a risk-based approach to safety, and coaching direct reports and leaders on safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive safety system that aligns with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct site visits and provide coaching and training to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications, maintaining accurate records and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in health, safety, and wellbeing leadership roles, preferably in the transport, warehousing, and resources industry.
  • Strong knowledge of work health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
  • A deep understanding of risk management principles and the ability to apply them in a practical context.
