About Harvest Road Group

Harvest Road Group, a family-owned integrated cattle, beef, and aquaculture business, is seeking a Health and Safety Business Partner to enhance our safety culture across our Agribusiness operations.

The Role:

  • We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety professional with a tertiary qualification or certification in Health and Safety or Environmental Management.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar SHEQ role, preferably within industrial or agribusiness sectors.
  • This dynamic role requires a mix of remote work and on-the-ground collaboration, as well as travel to diverse locations across WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain health and safety policies, inductions, and programs tailored to our agricultural operations.
  • Provide expert advice on WHS legislation and compliance.
  • Conduct and support incident investigations using ICAM methodology.
  • Review and maintain H&S management plans and risk registers.
  • Lead and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or certification in Health and Safety or Environmental Management.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar SHEQ role, ideally within industrial or agribusiness sectors.
  • Proven expertise in hazard and risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and WHS legislation.
  • Strong investigation skills, with ICAM Lead Investigator accreditation (not essential but highly regarded).
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence change.
  • Current Class C Driver's License and willingness to travel across WA.
