About the Position

The Accounts Administration Officer role is a key position within our client's Accounting and Finance department. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily capture and reconciliation of accounts receivable and contributions
  • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Daily setup of fuel cards and termination of cards not required
  • Reconciliation of fuel cards to system and invoices
  • Generate and entry of monthly novated lease invoices
  • Managing accounts receivable and contributions
  • Initializing new novated leases and closing leases that terminate or end
  • Administering contract variances & terminations- early termination, natural termination, package adjustment, change of employer & lease transfer
  • General account inquiries- invoicing & arrears
  • Prepare financiers' payments
  • Import bank feeds and allocate to general ledger
  • Prepare BAS returns
  • Prepare quarterly FBT returns
Requirements
  • BAS registration with the Tax Practitioners Board
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills & MYOB experience
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a team environment
