We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Darwin, providing comprehensive care to adults with varying disabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with mature-aged individuals to promote independence, improve daily living skills, and enhance overall quality of life.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including occupational therapy techniques and strategies to address physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
- Demonstrated experience working as an OT, preferably in a similar clinical setting.
- Sound knowledge of OT principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
- Eligible for relocation assistance and professional development opportunities.
- 5 weeks annual leave and access to additional leave entitlements.
