We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for coordinating sea freight import deliveries and dehire. Your role will involve managing cartage providers on a day-to-day basis to ensure they adhere to agreed performance metrics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate carrier payments and delivery order releases
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for allocated customers regarding delivery requirements and challenges
  • Maintain awareness and action Customs, AQIS, and DAFF requirements
  • Implement strategies to minimize client transport liabilities

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a transport coordinator in cartage or landside operations
  • Background in customer-focused environments or similar roles
  • Previous experience in shipping or international freight forwarding industries, specifically in ocean freight and import operational settings
  • Australian work rights
  • Familiarity with forwarding business practices, DHL products (OFR), and related business systems
  • CargoWise expertise (advantageous)
