We are seeking an experienced and skilled VET Coordinator and Careers Adviser to join our professional teaching team.

Location: Canberra, ACT

Employment Type: Full-time

Employment Status: Ongoing

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects related to advising, monitoring and administering the VET courses offered within the school.

About the Role
  • Advise, monitor and administer VET courses
  • Provide careers and educational counselling, advice and support
  • Assist students with decisions relating to levels of study and course selection

The VET Coordinator & Careers Adviser is a full-time Position of Responsibility 2 (PR2) and will undertake a 0.62 FTE teaching load in the Senior School.

  • A progressive vision of learning and teaching
  • A dynamic teacher with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of student development
  • Excellent academic qualifications and subject knowledge
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership and administrative skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Faculty Coordinators to achieve outcomes
  • Liaise with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
  • Manage student assessments data and competencies
