National Commissioning Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning and Completions Lead to join our pre-contracts team within the infrastructure water/wastewater treatment department. This role will ensure planning, budgeting, and resourcing of commissioning and completions activities across our national portfolio of pursuit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and technical direction to pre-contracts and project staff, design consultants, subcontractors, and technology vendors on testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning requirements.
- Lead commissioning and completions components of tenders, responsible for commissioning planning, resourcing, and budgets.
- Lead John Holland's enterprise approach to commissioning processes and systems, identifying opportunities for standardization and improvement.
- Review required commissioning and handover documentation, including organization, staffing, program, schedules, templates, and test procedures.
- Identify risks to construction handover, commissioning, and implementation, and provide control measures.
- Ensure testing and commissioning preparation and execution are managed, planned, documented, resourced, and executed, meeting technical requirements and project budget and program requirements.
- Ensure ongoing identification, review, and acceptance of handover works, contributing to effective control of completion risks.
- Develop required commissioning documentation, including organization, staffing, program, schedules, templates, and test procedures, in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare, implement, and revise as required the Testing and Commissioning Management Plan, in compliance with contract requirements and the Testing and Commissioning strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in M&E installation/testing and commissioning within large-scale water infrastructure or construction.
- Successful experience as a Commissioning Manager.
