We are in search of an enthusiastic and collaborative Senior Branded Content Editor to become a vital part of our Group Content team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with delivering an outstanding content experience tailored for our audience passionate about property, while also advancing content partner objectives across various sectors.
Your Role:
As the Senior Branded Content Editor, you will be a proactive self-starter with a robust understanding of content commercialization, spanning from concept development to execution and delivery. Your ability to inspire and energize the team will be key.
In this client-facing position, you will collaborate closely with the Content Partnership Manager and sales teams to explore, propose, and implement branded content solutions. You will be adept at brainstorming compelling content ideas, crafting them to a high standard, or commissioning them from your network of freelancers. The ideal candidate will:
● Collaborate with the Content Partnership Manager to investigate, develop, and propose innovative revenue growth strategies.
● Oversee a network of contributors to bring client campaigns to fruition through engaging storytelling, idea generation, writing, editing, and sourcing visual elements.
● Proactively propose ideas and generate on-brand responses to briefs that align with client goals.
● Work alongside the National Sales Manager and National Sales Director to identify sales opportunities and represent our brand effectively.
● Coordinate with the broader Content Marketing, Production, and Digital Acquisition teams to ensure seamless integration of branded content campaigns across various platforms.
● Optimize campaigns and report on performance utilizing social media acquisition tools.
Qualifications:
● A minimum of 6+ years of experience in branded content, content marketing, or editorial roles. A degree in Communications, Media, or Journalism is preferred.
● Comprehensive knowledge of the content marketing landscape with a focus on commercial content.
● Proven experience working collaboratively with sales teams, with an understanding of revenue forecasting, targets, margins, and budgets.
● Strong familiarity with CMS platforms (preferably WordPress and Brightcove).
● Experience with analytics tools and reporting platforms (such as Google Analytics and Facebook).
● Proficient in content management systems, social media platforms, SEO principles, and paid traffic strategies.
● Excellent research and analytical capabilities.
● Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and guide diverse teams.
