About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Commissioning and Completions Lead to join our pre-contracts team within the infrastructure water/wastewater treatment department.

This role will ensure planning, budgeting, and resourcing of commissioning and completions activities across our national portfolio of pursuit. You'll work closely with project teams to deliver high-quality results and drive process standardization and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical direction and leadership to pre-contracts and project staff, design consultants, subcontractors, and technology vendors on testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning requirements.
  2. Lead commissioning and completions components of tenders, including commissioning planning, resourcing, and budgets.
  3. Develop and implement John Holland's enterprise approach to commissioning processes and systems, identifying opportunities for standardization and improvement.
  4. Review and develop commissioning and handover documentation, including organization, staffing, program, schedules, templates, and test procedures.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks to construction handover, commissioning, and implementation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in M&E installation, testing, and commissioning within large-scale water infrastructure or construction.
  • Successful experience as a Commissioning Manager.
