The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Estimator with expertise in both conceptual and detailed estimating. This role is pivotal as we engage in significant long-term projects across Australia, particularly in the water infrastructure and wastewater treatment sectors. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of Engineers, Estimators, Analysts, and Program Intelligence professionals, contributing your skills throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently create conceptual estimates based on engineering materials (AACE Class 5, 4, and 3).
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between clients and project stakeholders.
- Understand KBR's cost assurance processes and effectively operate within any assurance framework as a client representative.
- Assist in the development of estimating and assurance frameworks, guidelines, and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients and joint venture partners to identify and resolve existing business process challenges using KBR's expertise.
