We are collaborating with a key water utility on the intricate design of water infrastructure and wastewater treatment facilities. As part of a cooperative team comprising Engineers, Capital Estimators, Analysts, and Program Intelligence experts, you will apply your expertise to deliver critical services throughout the project lifecycle.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded Senior Estimator to become part of our growing team, with numerous construction projects already in progress.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess experience in both conceptual and detailed estimating, ideally within the water sector, pipeline projects, or treatment facilities. Experience with oil and gas pipelines will also be considered valuable. Since the project is in the pre-construction phase, familiarity with this area is advantageous.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Ability to independently develop conceptual estimates from engineering materials (AACE Class 5, 4, and 3)
- Provide mentorship to junior estimators
- Facilitate coordination between clients and other project stakeholders
- Understand KBR's cost assurance processes and effectively operate within any assurance framework as a client representative
- Assist or lead the development of estimating and assurance frameworks, guidelines, etc.
- Collaborate with clients and other joint venture partners to identify and resolve existing business processes that can be improved through KBR's expertise.
