About the Role

MERIVALE is seeking a highly skilled and confident Restaurant Service Director to join our management team. As an experienced hospitality professional, you will be responsible for leading a team of wait staff, baristas, and team leaders in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cafe-style service with a focus on coffee knowledge and expertise. They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and upskill the wider team in product knowledge and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior hospitality management position.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • A strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
