About the Opportunity

Frontline Human Resources is seeking an experienced Site Cafe Manager to join their client's team at a prestigious site in Lucas Heights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of food, catering, and function services while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position with competitive salary package between $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation benefits.
  • The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, depending on business needs.
  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience in high-volume environments, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering quality food and service.
  • Additional responsibilities include maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene, implementing innovative ideas to drive revenue growth, and ensuring effective stakeholder relationships.
  • A valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily operations of the cafe, including inventory management, staff supervision, and customer engagement.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  3. Maintain accurate records, reports, and data analysis to inform business decisions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in hospitality, business, or related field (desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant software (desirable)
