About the Role

We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to assist older clients in their daily lives.

This role is pivotal in helping clients maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care support such as bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene assistance
  • Supporting with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, and ironing tasks
  • Assisting with grocery shopping, medical appointments, and social engagements
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in a client's health or behavior, ensuring timely escalation to guarantee safety
  • Delivering care according to individualized Care Plans and maintaining accurate documentation

Requirements

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related fields
  • A current driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance coverage
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • Effective verbal communication skills to engage confidently with older clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
