Nursing Role in Acute Care

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in a General Medical Ward and Medical Assessment Unit. This is a full-time role that requires compassion, patient-centred care, and a collaborative approach.

As an RN, you will work with a supportive team to provide safe and high-quality care to patients with a range of health needs. You will be part of a streamlined admission, treatment, and discharge process with enhanced medical support and an Integrated Care Coordinator.

  • You will contribute to a high-performing team across the ward and MAU, caring for patients with various conditions including endocrine, renal, gastroenterology, urology, cardiac, and geriatric conditions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • A flexible nurse comfortable with rotating rosters across mornings, afternoons, and nights.
  • Full and current Australian working rights.
  • A patient-focused, holistic, and compassionate care approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise care in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Sound clinical judgement with a kind, caring approach to achieve the best patient outcomes.
