Plant Mechanic Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative industry that focuses on reducing waste and promoting sustainability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of mobile plant, excavators, loaders, and other machinery.
  • Documenting work completed and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Working autonomously to achieve maximum machine uptime and responding to breakdowns promptly.
  • Interpreting parts manuals and diagrams to resolve mechanical problems.

Requirements:

  • A heavy mechanical trade qualification (Plant or machinery).
  • Experience in a heavy industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and different shifts where required.
  • A strong safety-focused work ethic.
