Heavy Vehicle Technician/Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake replacements.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.

Requirements:

  • Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles, particularly trucks.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems in heavy vehicles.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
