About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Liaison Specialist to join our team at Ramsay Health Care. As a key member of our hospital team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with general practitioners (GPs) and other healthcare professionals to promote our hospital services and drive referral growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to support growth in key specialties, collaborating with our team to identify opportunities and leverage relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote our hospital services and medical specialists through GP practice visits and a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, ensuring accurate and detailed records of GP interactions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing GP practices in our catchment, leveraging opportunities to accelerate results and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to advance business goals, including GPs, other specialists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide monthly reports to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and demonstrate return on investment (ROI) through increased referrals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a business development or similar role in healthcare, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Understanding of medical specialists and the relationship with referrers, including GPs, other specialists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, leveraging data to monitor the market, build a pipeline of opportunities, and create growth strategies.
  • Experience with cold calling and influencing referrer groups, with a strong focus on building relationships and driving results.
