We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Youth Mental Health Specialist to join our team in a vibrant regional facility in tropical North Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced clinical care, including assessment and treatment services, to children and young people up to the age of 18 years with mental disorders, alcohol and other drug issues, and emotional and/or behavioral problems.
- Offer services to rural communities and support the Child and Adolescent Court Liaison Forensic Mental Health Service.
- Supervise and teach junior medical staff and medical students, and participate in clinical governance activities.
- Participate in the after-hours on-call roster, providing services to consumers across the full age range.
