About the Role

Amazon's Project Kuiper is a groundbreaking initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, providing low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients on compliance requirements for internet access and similar services, including ISP-specific billing and customer disclosure requirements, network management rules, public funding programs, interconnection, and regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Develop out-of-this-world strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, as well as build processes that address risk and allow Kuiper the flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
  • Work closely with the Kuiper team and across Amazon to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of legal experience
  • Law degree and admission to relevant bar association
  • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
  • Experience in the communications industry is a plus
