About the Opportunity

As a senior client manager, you will originate business and manage relationships with public sector clients in Australia and New Zealand to drive opportunities for Swiss Re Group.

You will take ownership of implementing, coordinating, and delivering go-to-market plans for ANZ, working with the Head PSS ANZ & China to refine and evolve them for success. Your key responsibilities include delivering set revenue targets for ANZ PSS business, leading origination activity through consultative selling techniques, executing end-to-end client management and business origination activities, and engaging with public sector clients to understand their risk assessment and re/insurance needs.

As a leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional deal teams, develop advanced risk insights, and design tailored risk transfer solutions leveraging insurance, reinsurance, and capital markets as appropriate. You will also elevate Swiss Re's visibility, credibility, and brand by participating in industry, client, and stakeholder events, particularly in areas of high relevance to public sector partners in ANZ.

  • Developing business in a public sector or non-life re/insurance context, preferably in Australia, in a cost-conscious way.
  • Using data and commercial insight to shape origination strategy and drive outcomes.
  • Operating with autonomy, accountability, and focus, taking ownership of strategic plans and driving their execution.
  • Engaging, navigating, and negotiating with multiple external stakeholders while maintaining client centricity and persistence.
