Job Title: Merchandise Analyst

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our merchandise function with data-led analysis and insights. This will involve working closely with our buying and planning teams to provide reporting and analysis that supports our commercial decision-making process.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, numerical acumen, and drive for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail with a working knowledge of merchandise and commercial principles in an analytical role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide data-led analysis and insights to support our merchandise strategy and commercial decision-making process.
  • To work closely with our buying and planning teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal customers and external partners.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong background in retail with experience in merchandise analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, and SAP BI is highly desirable.
