Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Women's Apparel Planning team as a Senior Merchandise Planning Specialist. The role involves working closely with the planning team to develop and implement merchandise plans that drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a love of fashion, and a desire to develop a career in merchandise planning. They will be responsible for assisting with seasonal sales, stock, and profit forecasts, monitoring trading performance, and recommending actions to maximise sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with option planning, size curve analysis, and buy quantities.
  • Maintain stock flows, allocation profiles, and replenishment plans.
  • Provide reporting and insights at weekly trading meetings.
  • Liaise with designers, state managers, and retail leaders on stock opportunities and customer needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly organised individual with advanced Excel and data analysis skills, confidence working with large datasets, and a strong understanding of retail math. A tertiary qualification or equivalent in business, commerce, finance, or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders across retail, design, and planning.
