About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Rec-Partners. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of innovative engineering projects in geotechnically complex environments.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in geotechnical, mining, or infrastructure projects. They will be responsible for direct daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Direct daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.
  • Structural Installation: Supervise the installation of structural elements, such as waler beams and wall stabilizers, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  • Geotechnical Monitoring: Monitor the deployment and functionality of advanced geotechnical instruments, including load cells and thermistors.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and processes to ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and Australian standards.
  • Engineering Documentation: Review engineering shop drawings for accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
  • Safety Management: Enforce stringent WHS protocols to address site-specific risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Technical Submittals: Track and manage technical submittals, including IRs, TQs, MIRs, WMS, and ITPs, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Site Records: Maintain accurate site records, as-built drawings, and daily progress reports.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in geotechnical, mining, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, earthworks, and construction methods.
  • Proficient in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse disciplines.
