Job Summary

Civil Services Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects in the Central Coast / Mackay region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, prioritizing resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer or Site Engineer/Project Engineer looking to step up into a Senior PM role. You will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in road construction, maintenance & upgrade projects delivery. Your expertise should include civil road and transport infrastructure planning, design, developing schedules and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to execute an element of the project life cycle – completed planning studies, completed detailed designs, completed construction contracts;
  • Sound consultation, conflict avoidance, group facilitation skills; and managing and supervising projects to TMR or other authority body policies, standards and specifications in Australia;
  • Time & Cost Estimating, Developing Budgets, Documentation, Creating Charts and Schedules, Risk Analysis, Managing Risks and Issues Strategic Influencing;
  • Exposure & understanding of TMR policies, standards & specifications;
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and prioritising;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships;
  • Computer literacy, in established industry programs;
  • Well-developed organising and problem-solving skills;
  • High attention to detail, Controlling Quality, Monitoring and Reporting Progress;
  • Working with Vendors & Community Consultation;
  • Committed to HSE & QA Policies and procedures.
Mandatory Requirements

A Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust). A valid driver's license and own mobile phone. The role requires a commitment to 45-55 hours over 5-6 days per week. Relocations are preferred, but we consider FIFO or DIDO assignments. You must have the right to work in Australia with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
