We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team at Civil Services Group, a specialist civil project management and delivery company based in Queensland.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple civil projects across QLD and NSW, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key activities include:

  • Assisting Contract Administrators in assessing and verifying all stages of construction against statutory and legislative requirements;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including project budgets and progress updates;
  • Coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery;
  • Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and costs;
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff members as part of our company's commitment to mentoring and developing employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ);
  • Minimum 5 years' post-RPEQ experience in civil project management, including design, construction, maintenance, and contract administration;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage competing priorities.
