Support Navigator

We are seeking a highly motivated Support Navigator to join our team.

A Support Navigator plays a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with participants, families, and support networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality support to individuals with varying needs and circumstances
  • Assisting participants to develop their capacity and independence, and exercise their choice and control
  • Reading, understanding, and implementing individual plans
  • Connecting participants to services and community-based programs using a person-centered approach

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification and/or experience working within the disability sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the disability sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build strong relationships
  • Current driver's license, reliable car, and willingness to travel to clients where required
  • High level of stress resilience and emotional intelligence
