We are seeking an Employment Opportunities Coordinator who is passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their career goals. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with participants to identify and secure sustainable employment opportunities that align with their strengths and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Career Opportunity Sourcing: Identify and create meaningful career opportunities for clients, matching them to suitable roles that leverage their skills and experience.
  • Inclusive Employment Advocacy: Champion inclusive employment practices and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury, or health condition.
  • Employer Engagement: Collaborate with employers to address skill shortages through innovative recruitment strategies and role carving.
  • Work Experience Brokerage: Facilitate work experience opportunities to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Workplace Support: Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Diversity and Inclusion Training: Provide training to boost disability awareness and inclusion among employers.
  • Network Development: Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities and promote Breakthru as a trusted provider.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks while championing Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
