Aquatic Centre Management Role

This role supports the City's operational efficiency by coordinating and providing technical assistance for the daily supervision, programming, and delivery of aquatic programs at a state-of-the-art aquatic centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • The incumbent will be responsible for the operational aspects of the aquatic team, ensuring seamless execution of daily activities.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and key performance indicators for aquatic areas is a critical component of this role.
  • The successful candidate will manage and oversee continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.
About You

Applicants will have proven experience in leading, coaching, mentoring, developing, and supporting high-performance cultures within the aquatic industry. A strong background in aquatic teaching, coupled with certifications such as AUSTSWIM and Bronze Medallion, is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation when necessary.
