Job Overview

The role of an Accounts Payable Specialist involves the processing of invoices, tracking payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The position requires attention to detail, excellent time management, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process invoices and track payments
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Process purchase orders and receipts
  • Ensure all payments are processed on time
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with month-end accounts balancing and internal audits
  • Monitor and allocate expense tracking
  • Provide weekly and monthly financial reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience in accounting software (preferably Quickbooks)
  • Previous experience in an Accounts position

Working Arrangements

  • Full-time and permanent position
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm
