Accounts Payable Specialist Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a pivotal role in the efficient and accurate recording of business expenses for our operations. This key position ensures seamless supplier relationships by distributing tax invoices, coding invoices to relevant General Ledger codes, and making timely payments.

The specialist will also be responsible for verifying and processing employee expense claims, reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, and investigating issues related to invoice processing and payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribute tax invoices for departmental approval in a timely manner.
  • Coding of invoices to relevant General Ledger (GL) code.
  • Making payments within due terms to ensure supplier satisfaction.
  • Verify and process employee expense claims accurately.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice processing and payment efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Able to work collaboratively as a team player to achieve common goals.
