Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the delivery of our insurance product innovation.

The successful candidate will work closely with insurer partners to optimise, maintain and evolve our insurance products. They will be responsible for overseeing Agile delivery across BAU updates, production issues and strategic product changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Tech Delivery team to implement and optimise processes across the Product team to drive delivery efficiency.
  • Facilitate ceremonies and planning sessions for the Insurance Product Maintenance squad, keeping priorities clear and delivery flowing.
  • Manage dependencies with Technology, Analytics and other downstream teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with internal Product Managers to align delivery with commercial goals and insurer relationships.
  • Identify and resolve risks, blockers and delivery challenges early.
  • Use Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement and boost team performance.
  • Mentor team members on Agile practices, fostering a culture of accountability and self-organisation.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years in Agile delivery (Scrum Master, Agile PM or similar), ideally in a business focused role in insurance, fintech or aggregator environments.
  • Capability over qualifications.
  • Experience and achievements in prior roles are more valuable than extensive degrees and project management qualifications.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across primarily BAU and enhancements while also supporting across project work as required.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at multiple levels.
  • Solid knowledge of JIRA, Agile boards and delivery reporting.
  • Comfortable working across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A commercial mindset, with familiarity in pricing, underwriting or insurer product processes a bonus.
