The opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and experienced insurance professional to lead the placement and administration of QBE's corporate insurance program. This role plays a key part in ensuring our insurance coverage is comprehensive, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs across Group and Divisional functions.
You'll be the go-to expert for corporate insurance administration, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver optimal solutions and support.
Your new role
- Design, construct, and place a robust and cost-efficient corporate insurance program, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare insurer market presentations and updates for renewals and mid-year reviews.
- Coordinate the collection of underwriting, corporate, and claims data to support insurance placement.
- Support the Insurance Risk Team with broader risk analysis activities.
- Streamline administrative processes including placement, invoicing, and reporting.
- Respond to coverage queries from Group Functions and Divisions (e.g. Events, Travel, Procurement).
- Provide regular reporting on coverage performance and active claims to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and brokers through strategic engagement.
- Liaise with divisions to ensure accurate information sharing and claims support.
- Collaborate with insurance risk teams across QBE to foster shared learning and continuous improvement.
About You
- Solid experience in insurance and underwriting (financial lines experience not required).
- Exposure to both insurer and broker environments is highly valued.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage complex insurance programs and deliver clear insights.
- A collaborative approach to working across teams and functions.
