About the Role:We're seeking a Business Development Partner to join our team in North West Victoria. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving new business opportunities across our diverse portfolios. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences and work closely with all Aruma teams to create innovative solutions that empower individuals to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and Enhance Partnerships: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and networks.
- Innovative Promotion: Create and promote Aruma's support offerings through online and face-to-face channels, in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications function.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Implement person-centred approaches and focus on customer goals and outcomes in all daily interactions and decision-making processes.
- Exceptional Customer Experience: Ensure a smooth, consistent, and positive experience for all new customer leads to Aruma.
- Regional Growth: Drive proactive regional vacancy management and growth portfolios to secure new customers.
- Customer Choice and Control: Champion and demonstrate customer choice and control in all aspects of business development.
- Efficient Customer Service: Provide an efficient and effective customer service function while optimising sales growth and opportunities for service expansion.
- Accurate Advice: Ensure accurate and timely advice and direction to prospective customers, their families/networks, and services colleagues.
- Self-Motivation: Demonstrate self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team to achieve delegated KPIs.
- Customer Perspective: Ensure the customer perspective is apparent throughout all aspects of business development.

- Experience: Demonstrated experience (3+ years in a business and/or customer service management role).

- Business Development: Experience in business development or sales.
- Disability Services: Experience within the Disability Services Industry and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
- Community Networks: Experience in building and maintaining effective community networks and relationships.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as a deeply proactive approach to meeting and exceeding goals.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and organise and prioritise workload, handle multiple tasks, and work efficiently and effectively to deadlines and respond to multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, accountable, and customer-focused.
- Computer Literacy: Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems and technology.
- Driver's Licence: Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence (unrestricted) and willingness to use personal vehicle, in accordance with Aruma policy for work purposes if required.
- Regulatory Requirements: Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
- Travel: Ability to travel interstate and intrastate as and when required.
