Event Coordinator Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team as an Event Coordinator.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of industry-leading events across the Asia-Pacific region, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.

Key responsibilities will include planning and logistics for internal and external events, managing timelines, stakeholder communications, budgets, and logistics, as well as ensuring consistent high-quality delivery aligned with IDP's brand and strategic goals.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive event plans that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and third-party organizers to ensure smooth event execution
  • Manage event timelines, including setup, registration, programming, and teardown
  • Prepare and distribute promotional materials, including invitations, programs, and schedules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure event success
  • Monitor and report on event metrics, including attendance, engagement, and feedback
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in event planning, logistics, or project coordination
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Knowledge of event platforms, CRMs or content management systems (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the international education sector (a plus, not essential)
