Protecting Cutting-Edge Technologies

We are seeking a registered patent attorney to join our Electronics, Physics & I.T. (EPIT) team in Melbourne.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients to develop IP protection strategies tailored to their commercial objectives.

  • Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Australia and internationally
  • Preparing high-quality written and verbal IP advice in a timely manner
  • Managing intellectual property portfolios for local and international clients
  • Developing and executing IP strategies tailored to client needs
  • Preparing and delivering IP-related articles and presentations internally and externally

About You:

  • You are a registered Australian or New Zealand patent attorney with degree qualifications in electrical or electronics engineering, computer systems engineering, mechatronics engineering, information and communications technology (ICT), physics, quantum computing, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • You possess experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the above technical fields, managing IP portfolios, and developing IP strategies for Australian and international applicants.
  • You have a client-focused approach and ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional technical knowledge, and an eye for detail.
