Job Overview:

The Program Coordinator will oversee camps allocated to them, focusing on 'All-abilities' camps. This involves leading Administrators pre-program and Program Facilitators during the program.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to build rapport with kids and guardians quickly, and have a strong passion for outdoor activities and young people's positive wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee camps allocated to you, focusing on 'All-abilities' camps.
  2. Attend and lead camp programs across South Australia and interstate locations.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for guardians involved in our programs.

You will coordinate one camp approximately once every 4 weeks, typically spending 3 or 4 nights away from home at various destinations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High organisation and ability to build rapport with kids and guardians quickly.
  • A strong passion for outdoor activities and young people's positive wellbeing.
  • Physical fitness and capability.
  • Knowledge or passion for adventure-based activities (bonus points for qualified outdoor educators).
  • Alignment with our core values.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Adequate understanding of administration and Google suite.
  • Multiple years of experience in an educational role (classroom teaching, working with special needs, outdoor education, etc.).

Essential Requirements:

  • Working with Children's Check or Teacher's Registration.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Able to inspire young people to love nature.
  • Participate in company culture promoting wellbeing, staff recognition, work-life balance, and annual overseas retreats.
  • Influence company direction by providing meaningful input.
