Neonatal and Midwifery Educator

As a valued contributor to our academic and clinical education team, you will play a key role in enhancing neonatal and midwifery units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for designing, teaching and evaluating curriculum content that promotes contemporary midwifery and newborn care practices.
- Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs for undergraduate, honours and postgraduate students.
- Conduct research activities and publications to advance knowledge in neonatal and midwifery fields.
- Supervise students undertaking project units and honours courses.
We are seeking an experienced educator with strong expertise in neonatal and midwifery. You will bring enthusiasm for student-centred learning, experience supporting learners, and the ability to embed neonatal knowledge across curricula.
- A current unrestricted registration as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in neonatal care, including Special Care Nursery and/or NICU experience.
- A commitment to scholarship and a potential for academic advancement.
- Experience in academic administration.
