Midwifery Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced educator in neonatal and midwifery to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality academic programs at our institution.
About the Role
- Contribute to the design, teaching, and evaluation of neonatal and midwifery units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Strengthen partnerships and research in neonatal and perinatal health through innovative collaborations.
- Undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate students, focusing on delivering exceptional learning outcomes.
- Develop, teach, lead, and moderate units that promote academic excellence and clinical expertise.
- Engage in research activities that advance knowledge in neonatal and midwifery care.
- Supervise students undertaking project units and honours courses, providing guidance and support for their academic success.
About You
- As a seasoned professional in neonatal and midwifery, you will work collaboratively with our academic team to drive educational excellence.
- You will be an innovative educator, committed scholar, and expert practitioner with experience supporting learners and embedding neonatal knowledge across curricula.
- You will possess initiative, innovation, and a results-driven attitude, ensuring the highest standards of education and research.
- Registration as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in neonatal care, particularly in Special Care Nursery and/or NICU settings, is highly desirable.
