Teach and Educate in Neonatal and Midwifery EducationJob Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated educator to contribute to the development and delivery of neonatal and midwifery education at our Mt Helen campus. As a key member of our academic and clinical education team, you will design, teach, and evaluate units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with strong neonatal and midwifery expertise to collaborate closely with our Institute's academic and clinical education team. You will support learners and embed neonatal knowledge across curricula.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and assess students at various levels
  • Develop, lead, and moderate academic units
  • Pursue research activities
  • Supervise students undertaking project units and honours courses
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Clinical expertise in neonatal care, preferably in Special Care Nursery and/or NICU settings
  • Commitment to scholarship and potential for academic advancement
  • Enthusiasm for student-centred teaching and learning
  • Experience in academic administration
