We are seeking a highly skilled Lecturer to contribute to the development and delivery of neonatal and midwifery units at our Mt Helen campus.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.
About the Role:
- Undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate, honours and postgraduate students;
- Develop, teach, lead and moderate units;
- Undertake research activities; and
- Supervise students undertaking project units and honours courses.
Key Requirements:
- A current unrestricted registration as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in neonatal care (Special Care Nursery and/or NICU experience essential);
- A commitment to scholarship and a potential for academic advancement;
- Enthusiasm for student-centred teaching and learning; and
- Experience in academic administration.
About You:
You will bring strong neonatal and midwifery expertise and work collaboratively as part of the Institute's academic and clinical education team. You will be an innovative educator and committed scholar, with experience supporting learners and embedding neonatal knowledge across curricula.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of educators and researchers, contributing to the development of high-quality educational programs and resources.
