Key Responsibilities

As a Postgraduate Nurse, you will:

  • Practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for your actions and delegation of care to other healthcare workers as required.
  • Contribute to quality healthcare through personal and professional development, research data, clinical supervision, and policy development.
  • Develop professional practice in accordance with population health needs and changing patterns of disease and illness.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
  • Demonstrate organisational skills, particularly time management.
  • Show evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Be able to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $72,700 - $104,400 per year, based on the expected hours of work.
