The 52-week postgraduate clinical employment is available at either the Ballarat or Horsham campuses. As a participant, you will immerse yourself in comprehensive training that delves into your chosen specialty, ensuring an enriching learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for your actions and delegating care to other healthcare workers as required.
  • Contribute to quality healthcare through personal and professional development, research data, clinical supervision, and the development of policy and clinical practice guidelines.
  • Develop your professional practice in accordance with the health needs of the population and changing patterns of disease and illness.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes.
Requirements
  • You must be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
  • Demonstrate organisational skills, particularly with respect to time management.
  • Show evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Demonstrate ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Our estimated annual salary range for this role is $71,048 - $98,784 based on a 48-64 hour per fortnight schedule, depending on the specific position and requirements.
