Grampians Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our hospital in Ballarat. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need.
About the Role
- We are seeking a Registered Nurse with recent experience working in ICU and/or CCU to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced critical care, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation, hemofiltration, and cardiac pacing.
- They will also be required to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver and evaluate evidence-based patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- The Registered Nurse will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing care.
- They will also be required to develop professional practice in accordance with the health needs of the population and changing patterns of disease and illness.
- The successful candidate will act as a patient advocate and demonstrate a commitment to the patients' rights and responsibilities.
Requirements
- To be eligible for this role, you must hold a current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have a postgraduate certificate or diploma in critical care.
- Recent clinical experience working in ICU and/or CCU is highly desirable.
- You will also need to demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills.
