We are seeking a skilled Guest Experience Expert to join our team at The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart. As a Guest Experience Expert, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, and resolving any guest-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and meet guests' service needs, including asking questions to understand their preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • Maintain customer loyalty through innovative issue resolution and strong attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest calls, requests, and problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process room service orders, answer questions on menu selection, and record transactions in the point-of-sale system.
  • Upsell and promote our venues with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Learn, think, and grow in your role, continuously evolving to meet the needs of our guests and the hotel.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience as a Guest Service Agent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong follow-up, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to emotionally connect with guests and provide superior levels of service.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
  • Flexibility to work on a 24-hour rotating roster, including public holidays and weekends.
  • Experience with OPERA property management system is a distinct advantage.
  • Full working rights for Australia.
